Deacon Misson
8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
1 Timothy 3:8-13 KJV
In line with the teachings of the New Testament, Deacons are called to be servants of the Church. Their role is to assist the Pastor and staff in carrying out Pastoral Ministries, which includes sharing the gospel with believers, caring for Church members and individuals in the community, and guiding the Church in fulfilling its mission. Deacons will also serve as worship leaders during prayer and testimonial services. When the Pastor is unavailable, the Deacons will take the lead in services.
