Missionary Prayer Brunch

The Missionary Prayer Breakfast was an uplifting and inspiring event that brought together the community in a spirit of fellowship and prayer. The theme for the event was "Prayer for Healing". The morning featured two dynamic speakers: Destinee Watson, a dedicated Maternal & Community Health Worker, who shared valuable insights on health and wellness and Mary Coleman from the American Red Cross/Sickle Cell, who passionately addressed important issues surrounding sickle cell awareness and donating blood. Mrs. Gloria White served as the mistress of ceremony, expertly guiding the program with grace and love. The audience was moved by the beautiful voice of Deaconness Carolynn Tucker, our talented soloist, whose performance added a heartfelt touch to the gathering. The St. Luke Gospel also entertained attendees with uplifting music that resonated the venue. Scriptures and prayers were provided by our youth, Lamont and Jermaine Wade-Crawley, Tivon and Trevor Wade respectfully. To cap off the event, First Lady Latannya Joyner delivered a sermonette, inspiring all with her powerful message and heartfelt delivery. The Missionary Prayer Breakfast was not just event, but a memorable celebration of community, faith, and shared purpose.
